The pneumatic vane motor is one of the most versatile an robust drive units that are available in modern mechanical engineering. It can be regulated across a wide range of rotation speeds and pressures and demonstrates the largest torque where it’s needed: In propulsion.
Pneumatic vane motors are used in many fields of technology, for example in mechianical engineering, where compact dimensions are needed, in all industrial fields in which EX-protection is needed (i.e. Chemical industry, mining and enamelling lines), as drive unit for robotic systems, agitators, printing and textile machines, as drilling units, in systems with little free space, as mixing motor for spray heads, as linear drive for feed units in systems with PU-foam.

When installing the pneumatic motor, attention needs to be paid to the following:
The drive shaft’s end may not be subject to impacts as the bearing clearance of end shield and motor could be altered otherwise.
In axial applications like stirring blades, the shaft must be appropriately supported and a flexible coupling must be used for adaption.
The mounting position of the pneumatic vane motor is arbitrary. Installation is made easier by the flange or foot mounting available for every motor.
