Flow control valves:
The flow control valve regulates the flow rate, for example to calibrate the piston speed of cylinders. The air flow rate is approximately the same for both directions. Via manipulating a spindle, the flow rate can be altered.
One-way flow control valves:
In one-way flow control valves, the compressed air can move freely into one direction of flow, while the flow rate into the opposite direction can be reduced to complete block via manipulating a spindle. Therefore, the speed of piston movements in cylinders can be regulated precisely.
When one flow direction is supposed to be blocked while the opposite one is supposed to support full flow, non-return valves are being used.
Quick exhausting valves:
By using these valves, increased piston speeds in single- and double-acting cylinders can be achieved. To enable quick exhausting, the valve must be directly installed to the air connection of the cylinder (small distances). The exhausting noise can be reduced by silencers.
